I am compelled to write this piece based on the conduct and manner of the last Governorship elections on Saturday which was massively rigged and filled with a lot irregularities.Personally i have lost hope in the electoral system in Nigeria and the only thing keeping me in this country is my love for the Country which can never fade away.
There is a saying that Nature adhors vacuum and so if we decide to move away from politics,the corrupt ones will always remain and the people will continue to suffer, i want to use this medium to personally encourage Mr.Jimi Agbaje to re-contest the governorship elections in 2011 and not back out because Lagos needs a candidate that loves and has the passion of Lagos.
Let us start in earnest to make sure we campaign and create structures accross all the local governments in Lagos State and enlighten the people not to sell their votes and mortgage their future.I just felt i should express my mind.Please lets keep the website running so we can have a forum to discuss and share ideas.
