Dear Friends,
It has been a while and some of you may have been wondering why. Believe me; coming out of a general election has been some experience. It has indeed been a serious challenge getting back as much of my life as I can. It is now obvious that life can not be the same again.
I have decided to take advantage of this time of the year to put some words on paper. I can not stop thanking you for your belief in me and your tremendous support during the April 2007 elections. Please be assured that your efforts are highly appreciated and our collective push for positive change was not wasted.
Events of the post-election months all over the country have proved that change must come, no matter what is done to try to stop it. The Koran, bible and indeed other religions preach perseverance and hope. Eid-El-Kabir is reward for faithfulness to Almighty Allah (SWT) while Christmas showcases God’s love for humanity through sending his very self to live as man and pay the supreme sacrifice.
I enjoin you to keep hope in our country alive and assure you that I will not relent in my efforts to enthrone good governance in Lagos State.
Finally, I wish you all the very best this festive season and the fulfillment of your aspirations in the New Year.
Thank you.
JIMI AGBAJE
