Post election blues

I'm still coming to terms with what happened last saturday. To omit some candidates' photographs from the ballot paper, while others had theirs on, is totally unforgivable. Surely, what was good for AC, PDP, LABOUR, ACCORD, etc parties must have been good for DPA, FRESH parties also!

Was it carelessness on a neutral level? Did INEC do it believing that because they were peaceful parties, they would get away with this injustice? Jimi Agbaje has preached and practised decency throughout, the Fresh lady has also, in her even shorter time in the public eye been generally perceived as gentle. Could they have tried it with Tinubu or Koro? I use Tinubu deliberately because we all know who AC's candidate really is. Or was INEC induced to remove those photograghs? By whom? What could have been the consideration for such a betrayal of their duty as custodians of the democratic process? I need feedback!

@ snakinola... "slowly" past

@ snakinola... "slowly" past that. The elections have shown what I have always said.. "Nigerians can take anything" (forgive my transliteration) FOr the President of a Federation touted as West African's best, to shamelessly say that "Elections aredo or die" is bad enough. He had to declare his freedom of sppech (without regard to its limitations) and now, link the country's dead Attorney-General to the investigation of a drug baron, which had started even before the former's death... Let's pray for NIgeria?

I am slowly but surely

I am slowly but surely losing hope in the Nigerian project. Obasanjo is the worst thing that ever happened to Nigeria. No free and fair election can be conducted with that party (PDP) at the center.
AC is not better. They only happened to out-rig PDP.
Jay Kay would have won in a free and fair election.

The people that I pity are Lagosians who choose to elect someone put there to serve a select few.
