It is YOU that will make the decision on who is going to run Lagos State for the next four years. YOU will decide who is going to put in place policies that will affect YOUR DAILY LIFE for the next four years.

It is important that you GO OUT AND VOTE on election day. Only YOU can elect good people into office. Not THEM, whoever they may be, but YOU!

Do you know about Your Right To Vote?

  • Your right to vote for the candidate or party of your choice;
  • Your right to vote without fear of intimidation or violence;
  • Your right to vote in a free and fair election (no “mago mago”);
  • Your right to know how many people are registered in your polling station;
  • Your right to know exactly how many people voted on voting day

  • Do you know how to Protect Your Vote on Voting Day?

    1. Wake up early and get to your polling station on time;
    2. Do not forget to eat before you leave home
    3. Do not wear any campaign material otherwise you will be disqualified from voting. This includes campaign ringtones; put your phone on silent or vibrate
    4. Queue up/Line up to Vote
    5. Even if the queue is long, be patient and make sure you vote because your vote is your voice and your vote is your right;
    6. Do not be disorderly
    7. Do not quarrel or fight with anybody
    8. After voting, stay until the voting ends – remember it is your right
    9. Accredited agents are entitled to wait and watch the votes counted – No “mago mago”
